Swim Fest/Overnighter

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s SwimFest/Overnighter party this past Saturday.  Don’t forget that your money is due to the managers by Friday the 16^th (checks should be made out to Owen Brown Swim Team).  If you are unsure how many laps your child swam please ask one of the coaches or managers.

All together, 53 of our swimmers and one sibling swam a whopping 1,923 laps to benefit the Ronald McDonald Houses, and were joined by their families to enjoy a fun evening of eating, relay races, and the ever popular coin toss!

Our top lap swimmers who are part of our Barracuda “Century Club” were:

Congratulations to everyone involved and a big thanks to all the parent volunteers and food contributors who made this possible.  An extra Barracuda thank you to Coach Lauren Branch and her Mom, Patty, who’s untiring and cheerful planning and decorating of this event, made it such a huge success!

The team wants to thank everyone who swam laps and helped with this event.

All pledge money should already have been collected and turned in, but we won’t turn any additional donations away!  Please see one of the managers at practice or call them if you still have money to turn in.  A final tally should be available early next week!
